Interim/Supply Ministry

Interim Ministries

- I am available to provide ministry to your church on an interim basis while you are in transition

- I recommend that the elders go through the leadership seminar and planning process - it will help you find a path for the future

- I am available to help lead the church through the process of finding and calling a new minister (this will initially be a part of the leadership seminar process)

- I will preach Sunday morning – early in the interim ministry, I will meet with the elders to establish a preaching plan

- If there is a Sunday night service, I would like to use this for a time of in-depth Bible study, rather than a repeat of the Sunday morning process

- On Wednesday nights, there will be an all-church (as many as can come, anyway) prayer meeting - praying for the church, the community, and for God’s direction – This is an extremely important part of the process!! (If you already have a Wednesday night program, we will schedule around that. No need to completely disrupt your schedule!)

- I will assist the elders in the calling ministry, which also includes hospital visits

Salary and housing (if needed) will be discussed before the interim ministry begins

Supply Ministries

- Supply ministries are typically a time where I fill the pulpit for 1-3 weeks

- Usually, supply ministries take place within driving distance of my home, and are for Sunday mornings only; however…

- I will be flexible – I can just preach on Sunday morning, or I can do some part-time ministry work (Friday through Monday), depending on your needs - let me know which you prefer

- Cost: I only ask that you take up an offering

- When requesting that I come for a supply ministry, please be sure to let me know about any information that might aid in choosing a message for that week
